Higgsfield AI Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits, and Is It Free?

Higgsfield is an AI creation site that bundles image and video models from several providers. You subscribe, receive credits, and spend them on generations. Its pricing page changes with region, currency and promotions, and several different sets of numbers circulate online. This guide uses the page as we saw it on October 29, 2026 (euro display, logged out) to explain what each plan costs, how many credits you get, how those credits are used up, what the "free" part really covers, and how to compare it with a different way of paying.
Prices are as shown on Higgsfield's page that day and exclude VAT. You may see a different currency or amount where you are, so check Higgsfield's checkout before you pay.
Key points
- Four tiers: Starter €19/month (270 credits), Plus €59/month (1,200 credits), Ultra €129/month (3,000 credits), and Teams from €65 per seat. Billed annually, Plus works out to €47/month and Ultra to €99/month.
- Credits don't roll over: subscription credits refresh every cycle, and top-up credits expire after 90 days.
- No $0 plan: each tier includes a few free generations on selected tools, usable only on the Higgsfield website.
- Failures refunded, dislikes not: failed generations are usually refunded; finished results you don't like are not.
- Compare cost per output: a "credit" isn't the same unit on every site, so convert to the price of one image or one clip of a given length and resolution.
How much does each Higgsfield plan cost?
These are the individual and team plans listed on October 29, 2026. The "page estimate" column is Higgsfield's own conversion from its pricing cards; it doesn't state video length or resolution.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month | Credits per month | Page estimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €19 | €19 | 270 | ~135 Nano Banana Pro generations, ~15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos |
| Plus | €59 | €47 | 1,200 | ~600 Nano Banana Pro generations, ~80 Seedance 2.5 videos |
| Ultra | €129 | €99 | 3,000 (6,000 or 9,000 optional) | ~1,500 Nano Banana Pro generations, ~200 Seedance 2.5 videos |
| Teams | from €65 per seat | — | from 1,000 per seat, pooled across 2–15 seats | — |
A few differences are easy to miss:
- Starter has limited models. Its card lists Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini and selected models. Full model access starts at Plus.
- Parallel jobs differ. Starter runs up to 2 videos and 4 images at once, Plus 6 videos and 8 images, and Ultra has no limit on parallel paid jobs.
- "Unlimited" has conditions. Unlimited models are usually time-limited offers on specific models, work only on the Higgsfield website, and may slow down at peak times.
You may also find Starter at $15 for 200 credits and Plus at $49 for 1,000 credits. Those figures come from an earlier Higgsfield blog post and don't match the live pricing page. Go by the page you see when you pay.
Do Higgsfield credits expire?
According to Higgsfield's help center:
- Subscription credits don't roll over. Monthly plans reset to the plan amount at each renewal; annual plans refresh every 30 days. Unused credits don't accumulate.
- Top-up credits expire after 90 days. Credits you buy separately once your allowance runs out must be used within 90 days.
- Subscription credits are spent first, then the top-up credits that expire soonest.
So Higgsfield suits a steady "use it all every month" rhythm. If you make a lot one month and very little the next, the unused subscription credits are gone.
DramaCanvas works differently: credit packs and subscription credits have no expiry date and aren't cleared when a subscription ends. Only promotional credits may carry their own expiry, which is stated when they're granted.
What's free on Higgsfield?
There's no $0 plan. Each paid tier includes a set number of free generations on specific tools, roughly 3 to 30 per tool depending on the tier. A footnote on the pricing page says unlimited models and plan free generations are available only on the Higgsfield website and don't apply through MCP, the CLI or other canvas products.
On DramaCanvas, the canvas, writing scripts by hand and editing storyboards by hand cost nothing; only AI image and video generation uses credits. Unpaid accounts get a watermark in the top-left corner of generated images and videos. Once you've bought credits or any plan, you can download watermark-free versions of past and future work. Generations made with your own API key never carry a watermark.
How do credits translate into an image or a clip?
A credit is a different size on every site, so comparing credit prices directly tells you nothing. Convert to what you'll actually make.
Using Higgsfield's own estimates at monthly prices:
- Starter: €19 ÷ ~135 Nano Banana Pro generations ≈ €0.14 each.
- Plus: €59 ÷ ~80 Seedance 2.5 videos ≈ €0.74 each.
- Ultra: €129 ÷ ~200 Seedance 2.5 videos ≈ €0.65 each, or about €0.50 on annual billing.
These estimates don't say how long or how high-resolution each video is. Before generating, check how many credits the button on Higgsfield shows, then work out the real cost as plan price ÷ plan credits × credits for this job.
DramaCanvas uses the same logic, with every number visible:
The button shows the exact credit cost before each generation. For example, a 5-second 480p Seedance 2.5 clip shows 70 credits, and one 1K Nano Banana Pro image shows 5 credits.
Convert using the plan you bought. Standard is $29.90 a month for 1,100 credits, about $0.027 per credit; Supreme is $299 a month for 14,950 credits, $0.02 per credit.
A 5-second 480p Seedance 2.5 clip costs about $1.90 on Standard and about $1.40 on Supreme. A 1K Nano Banana Pro image costs about $0.14 down to $0.10.
To be straight about it: if you use up your credits every month and mostly run models like Seedance 2.5, Higgsfield's higher tiers may cost less per clip by its own estimates. The real differences are whether your credits stay with you, whether you see the exact price of each job before you run it, and whether the workflow fits what you're making.
Which one fits your situation?
| Your situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You generate a lot every month with one or two models | Higgsfield on a higher tier | Credit cost drops as the tier goes up, and nothing goes to waste if you use it all |
| Your usage comes and goes, with quiet months | Credits that don't expire | Subscription credits that don't roll over are lost in quiet months |
| You're making a short drama: script, storyboard, first frames, video, edit | DramaCanvas | It all happens on one canvas, and each shot is generated and redone on its own |
| You just want to try a few generations | Start small on either | Higgsfield starts at Starter; on DramaCanvas, manual scripts and storyboards are free and each generation is charged on its own |
DramaCanvas and Higgsfield overlap on several models, including Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, Kling, Veo 3.1, Sora 2, Nano Banana and GPT Image. Models with the same name don't always offer the same lengths, resolutions or number of reference images on both sites, so go by what each generation panel lets you select. For model-specific how-tos, see the Seedance 2.0 guide and the Nano Banana Pro guide; for payment methods, see paying with Stripe.
What to check before you pay
- Monthly or annual? The "per month" price on annual billing is charged for 12 months up front.
- What happens after a trial? If you start a plan with a trial, it usually converts to paid when the trial ends. Cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
- Tax. Higgsfield's prices exclude VAT and local taxes, which are added at checkout.
- Is your model on this tier? Starter doesn't include every model.
- Work out the cost per clip. Use the length and resolution you normally make, check the credits on the generate button, and convert that to money.
Frequently asked questions
Is Higgsfield AI free?
There is no $0 plan. Paid plans include a small number of free generations on specific tools, and those only work on the Higgsfield website — not through MCP, the CLI or other integrations. The cheapest way in is Starter at €19 a month for 270 credits.
Do Higgsfield credits expire?
Subscription credits don't roll over. Monthly plans refresh at each renewal and annual plans refresh every 30 days, so unused credits are lost. Top-up credits expire 90 days after purchase.
Does Higgsfield refund credits for failed or bad results?
According to its help center, failed generations are usually refunded, but a finished result you don't like is not. DramaCanvas works the same way: failures are refunded, and a regeneration is a new job with its own quote.
Is Higgsfield cheaper than DramaCanvas?
It depends on how you use it. If you spend your full allowance every month on one or two models, Higgsfield's higher tiers can cost less per image or clip by its own estimates. If your usage is uneven, you want credits that don't expire, or you're building a story from script to storyboard to final cut on one canvas, DramaCanvas is the better fit.
